10. How long can DNA samples be stored?

Standard DNA samples (a swab on the back of the cheek with a cotton swab) can be stored in a regular paper envelope for up to six months. Do not place the standard sample in polyethylene or a sealed container, it must «breathe» to prevent mold growth.

11. Can DNA testing be performed using a sample of hair?
